PA Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (Vouchers)

The York County Area Agency on Aging, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, distributed fruit and vegetable vouchers to qualifying seniors both in-person and by mail. Eligible seniors could receive $24 worth of vouchers to buy fresh fruit and vegetables grown in Pennsylvania.

Please note that these were the 2022 income limits to be able to receive these vouchers.  
The 2023 income limits are not yet available, but should be comparable.
Household Annual Income Requirements were:
1 person          $25,142 ($2,095/month)
2 people         $33,874 ($2823/month)
3 people         $42,606 ($3550/month)

Other Important Information

Qualifying seniors must be York County residents and be 60 years of age by December 31 of the qualifying year.

Both spouses may receive vouchers if their total combined income is within the income requirements.

Recipients can only receive the SFMNP vouchers once per program year.

Seniors living in a nursing home, personal care home, or any residential facility where meals are provided are ineligible to receive vouchers.

Vouchers will be distributed from June to mid-September at various locations throughout York County and by mail.

NO vouchers will be distributed at the York County Area Agency on Aging office!

All vouchers for the 2022 season have been distributed.

Please check back in the spring for information on the 2023 distribution dates.

2022 Vouchers are no longer redeemable.  Please check back for the 2023 season beginning in June.
