Welcome to the Recorder of Deeds Webpage:
The Recorder of Deeds office is responsible for the recording and maintaining of all real estate documents in the county of York, Pennsylvania. Beyond real estate, the Recorder's office also records military discharge papers and notary bonds/commissions.
The Recorder Of Deeds position itself is an elected position with a four-year term.
The Recorder's office will continue the progress of advancement in technology, and ensure an efficient and effective delivery of services.

Beginning 1/1/2023 all notaries will register their signature for the Prothtonotary in the Recorder of Deeds Office and pay a total of $44.00 for signature, Bond and Commission recording fees.
