The seasonal environmental educator position is responsible for working closely with full time naturalists to plan and lead eight week-long summer day camps for children ages 5-13. Activities include hiking, stream exploration, canoeing, songs, games, nature journaling, creative projects, and more. Responsible for communicating with staff and parents/guardians about camp logistics, camper medical needs, and disciplinary concerns. A positive and outgoing attitude, strong teamwork skills, and flexibility are required. This position falls under the Child Protection Services Law and requires applicant to pass background checks and screenings.
